 Note:  Revelation 14:8 speaks of the fall of Babylon the Great in past tense - one verse.  Revelation 16:19 also speaks of the fall of Babylon the Great and God’s judgment - past tense.  Here, chapters 17 & 18, we have a two chapter description of the history and fall of Babylon the Great.
